Over the last few years, before we were here, a lot of protests has been carried out to take out SARS (#EndSARS) completely just for the Nigerian government to disband and reinstall power into the hands of these brutal police force.

They work closely with the Nigeria government by forcefully taking properties of young people, killing anyone who declines to unlock their iPhone, rape girls who are less privileged, extort money from students e.t.c

endsars

If you come to Nigeria today, you could easily be killed for not unlocking your phone and that’s why we really want our voices to be heard. I’m from Nigeria and I want SARS to end as well. However, we need your full support to make this possible. This is not the Nigeria of my dreams, a lot of dreams might not come true if this brutal police force who kill and rape women isn’t disbanded. Join us to make things right by tweeting with the hashtag — #EndSARS, we’re humans like you and we have the right to live.

What Exactly is SARS?

SARS is a branch of the Nigeria Police Force under the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID). The squad was established to deal with crimes associated with armed robbery, car snatching, kidnapping, cattle rustling, and crimes associated with firearms but as it seems. They are ex-convicts who are trained to protect people from crime and brutality — Once a criminal is always a criminal! These are the people the Nigerian Government gave the power to protect us. They don’t live a normal life and this sprouts jealousy. The jealousy and hatred in their heart trigger them to point guns and pull the trigger on anyone who lives a decent life.

Why is END SARS Trending?

End Special Anti-Robbery Squad (END SARS) is a social campaign in Nigeria that started on “Nigerian Twitter” opposing the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a unit of the Nigerian Police Force. It is a call to end police oppression and brutality in Nigeria. The campaign started as a social media campaign using the hashtag #ENDSARS to demand for Nigeria’s government to scrap and end the deployment of Nigeria Police Force Special Anti-Robbery Squad, popularly known as SARS.

Nigerians have shared stories and lots of video evidences of how members of SARS engaged in kidnapping, murder, theft, rape, torture, unlawful arrests, high-handedness, humiliation, unlawful detention, extrajudicial killings, and extortion.

Where did this start?

This originally started when the SARS decided to start going after fraudsters across the Nation. Labelling anyone who dresses fresh and nice as a scammer. So they give a stupid reason to extort money from people.

This wouldn’t have started if there were no Yahoo boys, in fact, our Government are as well, scammers in Uniform. The monsters Nigeria voted into power now hunt us. They are not affected that’s why they all keep quiet against what’s trending about #EndSARS.

To be continued…

The Nigerian government isn't going to do anything about the #EndSARS protest. I’ll employ you look up to some visa free countries for Nigerians and japa out of this country.
